OPINION
KETHLEDGE, Circuit Judge.
Michigan prisoner Wayne Earl LaFoun-tain sued the defendant prison officials, alleging that they retaliated against him for filing administrative grievances and lawsuits. The district court screened La-Fountain’s complaint pursuant to the Prison Litigation Reform Act and dismissed it with prejudice for failure to state a claim. 28 U.S.C. §§ 1915A(b)(l) & 1915(e)(2)(B); 42 U.S.C. § 1997e(c)(l). We reverse in part and vacate in part.
