The deceased, Robert Jackson, left a will in which he bequeathed to John O. Boland “five hundred dollars for faithful services to myself and late wife.”
This servant, John O. Boland, intsituted suit on 1st March, 1894, against the defendant succession, for three thousand eight hundred and fifty-five dollars, for services, at the rate of five dollars per day, rendered to the deceased and his wife, who died before the deceased, from November 25, 1891, to January 3, 1894.
