The plaintiffs appeal from a judgment entered in Superior Court denying their request for a preliminary and permanent injunction and dismissing their complaint with prejudice. They had filed a complaint to enjoin city officials from contracting with a private corporation that would sweep the streets of Providence, empty city trash containers, and purchase the city’s street sweepers. 1 The plaintiffs’ request for a temporary restraining order was denied.
