This is a consolidated appeal by plaintiff Francis Ontai (“Ontai”) from the directed verdict entered against him by the lower court in favor of defendant-appellee General Electric Company (“G.E.”), and by defendant Straub Clinic and Hos pital, Inc. (“Straub”) from the dismissal of its cross-claim against G.E.
