This is an original proceeding in mandamus to compel Frank J. Ryan, secretary of state, to accept and file the certificate *630of nomination of the plaintiffs as candidates for the office of electors for president and vice-president of the United States, and to certify to the several county clerks of the counties in Kansas the names of the plaintiffs as candidates of such party for such offices.
