MEMORANDUM AND ORDER
JOYNER, District Judge.
Plaintiff initiated this action against defendants on January 23, 1997 alleging wrongful denial of benefits under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, as amended, 29 U.S.C. § 1001, et. seq. (“ERISA”). 1 Plaintiff filed an amended com plaint on March 17, 1997. Presently before the Court is Defendants’ Motion for Summary Judgment and Plaintiffs response thereto. For the following reasons, the Motion is denied.
