MEMORANDUM OPINION
Before the Court is defendant Esso's Motion for a New Trial, Judgment as a Matter of Law, or, in the Alternative, Remittitur. Plaintiff has filed a response to this motion and defendant has filed a reply to that response. Both parties filed supplemental memoranda with the Court following the completion of the trial transcript. On January 26, 1995, the Court heard oral argument on the motion.
