CHAVEZ, Judge.

Randall DeMatteo (DeMatteo) and De-Matteo Construction Co. (construction company), defendants, appeal a judgment on a jury verdict awarding Julie Simon, plaintiff, compensatory and punitive damages for injuries arising out of an automobile accident.
