Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Chemung County (Buckley, J.), rendered June 15, 2009, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crime of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree (two counts).
In October 2009, the City of Elmira Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit received information from a confidential informant that defendant was in possession of a large quantity of cocaine and had made arrangements to sell some of it to a third party at the informant’s apartment later that same evening.
