Plaintiff, whose predecessor as Superintendent of Insurance of the State of New York had theretofore been appointed liquidator of International Workers Order, Inc., a corporation organized as a fraternal benefit society under New York law, brought this action as liquidator to require a conveyance by defendants of California property assertedly covered by the order of dissolution rendered by the New York court.
