HANSEN, Circuit Judge.

The Director of the Arkansas Department of Corrections appeals from a district court 1 order granting a writ of habeas corpus under 28 U.S.C. § 2254 to Clay Anthony Ford, who was convicted of capital murder and sentenced to death. The district court set aside Ford’s conviction because the prosecutor in Ford’s case exercised peremptory strikes in a racially discriminatory fashion. Ford v. Lockhart, 861 F.Supp. 1447 (E.D.Ark.1994). We affirm.
