This is an appeal by the defendants from a judgment against them in an action on a promissory note. The note was drawn in favor of one of the banks of Los Angeles in the sum of $11,250, dated July 1, 1930, with interest at the rate of seven per cent per annum and signed by the defendants. The note was thereafter assigned to the plaintiff at the request of a third party who was and is the plaintiff’s real party in interest.
