In this mandamus proceeding we determine whether the trial court abused its discretion in disqualifying relators’ attorney, Thomas Terrell. Mandamus is the appropriate procedure for review of orders granting or denying motions to disqualify counsel. See In re Nitla S.A. de C.V., 92 S.W.3d 419, 422 (Tex.2002) (per curiam) (orig. proceeding). A trial court’s ruling on a motion to disqualify is reviewed for an abuse of discretion.
