Ellington, Judge.
A Coweta County jury found Clarence Edward Fields guilty beyond a reasonable doubt of attempted armed robbery, OCGA §§ 16-8-41 and 16-4-1. The trial court denied Fields’ motion for new trial, and Fields appeals, contending the court erred in refusing to sever the counts for trial and that it improperly admitted hearsay evidence. Finding no error, we affirm.
