NYGAARD, Circuit Judge.
Kenneth McClure Young II, formerly a federal prisoner, appeals the district court’s order granting defendants’ motion for summary judgment in his suit for monetary *353damages against various federal prison officials. See Bivens v. Six Unknown Named Agents of the Federal Bureau of Narcotics, 403 U.S. 388, 91 S.Ct. 1999, 29 L.Ed.2d 619 (1971). We conclude that the district court erred in two respects: First, by dismissing the complaint as to defendant William Radloff, for lack of adequate service of process; and second, by granting summary judgment…
