OPINION AND ORDER

LAFFITTE, District Judge.

Plaintiffs, Corporación Insular de Seguros, Gustavo Nevárez, Carmen Muñiz, the conjugal partnership formerly existing between them, and Melanie Martinez, brought this action against defendant United States of America, for injuries and damages incurred in the July 30, 1980 boating accident involving the 32' cabin cruiser, the REMOLONA. Corporación Insular de Seguros (“Corporación”) is a corporation doing business within the district as a marine insurer, and is the primary carrier responsible for claims arising out of the July 30, 1980 accident.1…
