This is an action to declare void an ordinance passed by the board of supervisors of the city and county of San Francisco and to enjoin the city and county authorities from enforcing the same by criminal prosecutions against the plaintiffs and others. After the filing of the answer, the court, on motion of the defendants, gave judgment on the pleadings against the plaintiffs, from which the plaintiffs appeal.
