Appellant sued for an accounting and to collect moneys due him for services rendered as a salesman covering a period of 14 years *982(1902-1916). The facts, briefly narrated, are as follows:

Appellee, an Illinois corporation, was engaged in the business of enlarging photographs and selling frames. Appellant, a resident of Minnesota, was one of its salesmen. The contract of employment was in writing (extracts of which are set forth below)1 and provided for its termination by-either party on 30 days’ notice.
