This action was commenced in the district court of Washita county by Kitty Hood, as plaintiff, against F. E. Herring and O. H. Young, as defendants, for damages on account of personal injuries alleged to have been sustained by reason of the negligence of the defendants in failing to maintain in a safe condition the floor of a building in the town of Foss, owned and occupied by them as a retail store, through which floor she fell while a customer thei'ein. The parties will be referred to as they appeared in the trial court.
