In an action, inter alia, to recover damages for legal malpractice, the plaintiff appeals from an order of the Supreme Court, Suffolk County (Oshrin, J.), dated August 14, 2001, which granted the defendants’ motion to dismiss the complaint pursuant to CPLR 3211 (a) (5).

Ordered that the order is affirmed, with costs.

The Supreme Court properly determined that upon the execution of a consent to change attorney form on November 10, 1997, the defendants ceased to represent the plaintiff (see Wester v Sussman, 287 AD2d 618; Elliott v Jacobs, 221 AD2d 889). The continuous representation doctrine…
