Plaintiffs Michael and Erna Lake have brought this action on behalf of themselves and all others similarly situated against de*619fendant First Nationwide Bank, alleging a variety of federal and state causes of action. The Lakes and First Nationwide having reached an amicable settlement of this case, they now seek the Court’s preliminary approval of the proposed class action and settlement, and approval of the proposed notice to the putative class members.
