The sole issue in this appeal is whether the trial court abused its discretion by permitting the defendant George Geane1 to use a prior consistent statement to rehabilitate a witness who had been impeached on cross-examination by a suggestion of recent contrivance and by a prior inconsistent statement. The case was tried before a jury, which returned a verdict in favor of the defendant.
