The defendant, Edan Calabrese, appeals from the judgment of conviction of one count of assault of an elderly person in the second degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-60b1 in one case, and one count of violation of a protective order in violation of General Statutes (Rev. to 2001) § 53a-2232 in another case.
