Plaintiff Robert Norris (“Plaintiff’) has filed a Complaint against Defendants Bangor Publishing Co. (“BPC”) and John Day (“Day”), alleging that he was defamed in a series of three articles written by Day and published by BPC. Plaintiff contends that he was defamed in an October 12, 1996 article (Count I), in an October 15, 1996 article (Count III), and in an October 19, 1996 article (Count II), all published in the Bangor Daily News.
