In October, 1915, Lewis and Clark county had outstanding registered warrants against its several funds, aggregating in amount $100,000. Of this amount $32,077.82 represented road warrants issued for work done during 1914 and 1915 prior to June 14, 1915, on the public highways outside of the corporate limits of the city of Helena — the only incorporated city in the county.
