HOFFMAN, Judge.
Appellant-plaintiff Paul Daurer appeals the trial court's entry of summary judgment in favor of appellee-defendant Rex Keller.
The facts relevant to the appeal disclose that on December 11, 1989, the Michigan City police department dispatched Officer Rex Keller to the home of Paul Daurer to preserve the peace and protect Sue Mallon, Daurer's ex-live-in-girlfriend, from injury while she removed a television set.
