The plaintiff, Joann L. Boyd (hereinafter “Boyd”), filed a claim under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq.) against defendants Teleca-ble of Overland Park (hereinafter “TOP”), Laura Fitzsimmons (hereinafter “Fitzsim-mons”) and James Pirner (hereinafter “Pir-ner”), alleging racial discrimination in work assignments and management of a sales contest (Case No. 89-2063-0).
