SKINNER, District Judge.

In this action under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 approximatély 178 former employees of the city of Ponce, Puerto Rico, claim that their First Amendment right of free association was violated by the defendants, the mayor, the secretary of human resources and members of the Assembly of the City of Ponce, and the city itself. The individual defendants bring this interlocutory appeal from the denial of so much of their motion for summary judgment as claimed absolute immunity for legislative activity.
