MICHAEL DALY HAWKINS, Circuit Judge:

Jackie G. Wilson (“Wilson”), a California prisoner convicted of first-degree murder, attempted murder, and assault with a deadly weapon, appeals from the district court’s denial of his 28 U.S.C. § 2254 petition for a writ of habeas corpus. We affirm the district court’s denial of the writ.

Wilson, also known as “Jack Frost,” shot and killed Michael “Green-Eyes” Henry (“Henry”) and attempted to shoot Mario “BeBop” Baines (“Baines”) early one Thanksgiving morning near the intersection of Fitzgerald and Jennings Streets in a San Francisco neighborhood, known as…
