In connection with the present application for further action by the court in reapportioning the county legislative body, certain occurrences since the court’s interim decision of January 24, 1969 (N. Y. L. J., Feb. 5, 1969, p. 20, col. 6) deserve mention. The two proposed local laws described in the former opinion, both based on a division of the county into 17 districts, came before the Board of Supervisors on February 17, and both were rejected by a majority vote of the board.
