John Hemphill appeals from an order of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, Lewis A.

Kaplan, Judge, granting summary judgment to Defendants Harold Schott and Thomas DiMuro, New York City police officers [“the Officers”], in a suit Hemphill brought against them under section 1983 of the Civil Rights Act of 1871,42 U.S.C. § 1983.
