The Wakonda Drainage and Levee District, in Fulton county, was organized in 1919, and in June, 1921, the commissioners filed in the county court an assessment roll and their petition for the condemnation of certain land to be used for the ditches of the district. Chester L. Whitnah, Perle W. Rohrer and the Duck Island Hunting and Fishing Club were made defendants to the petition for condemnation as owners of a portion of the land sought to be condemned.
