Plaintiff appeals from a judgment dismissing her lawsuit on the ground that it was barred by the statute of limitations. On appeal, plaintiff contends that the applicable five year statute of limitations for fraud 1 did not run because the Missouri savings statute, Section 516.230 RSMo (2000), applied to extend the statute of limitations to one year after plaintiff suffered a nonsuit in the original action.
