The defendant, Gary L. Diesing, pled guilty to possession of less than 200 grams of amobarbitol in violation of the Illinois Controlled Substances Act (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1977, ch. 56½, par. 1402(b)) and as a first offender was, without conviction, placed on 18 months probation pursuant to section 410 of the act (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1977, ch. 56½, par. 1410).
