MURNAGHAN, Circuit Judge:
Edwin W. Denzler (“Denzler”), appellee-plaintiff, sued his former employer Questech, Inc. (“Questech”), appellant-defendant, for pension benefits under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (“ERISA”), 29 U.S.C. §§ 1001-1461.
