Plaintiffs, residing in Fremont, Newaygo county, are dealers in scrap metal. During the summer of 1948 the defendant was planning to dismantle its- wood-preserving plant in Reed City, Osceola- county. Plaintiffs went to Reed City and -learned that the defendant would have-considerable scrap iron for sale. Plaintiffs were advised by defendant that the scrap would be offered for bids and that the highest written bid would be. accepted.
