The three appeals above entitled grow out of one action. On October 7, 1924, the appellant, Hall, executed and delivered to one T. Iwasaki her promissory note for the sum of $333.33, payable three months after date, without interest, and secured the note by a chattel mortgage upon an automobile. On the following -day, the payee of the note indorsed and delivered it to the respondent Yamada,. and at the same time, executed and delivered to him a written assignment of the mortgage.
