Gregory J. Mann brought an action against C & D Robotics, Incorporated, his former employer, for wrongful termination in retaliation for filing a workers’ compensation claim. See Tex. Lab.Code Ann. § 451.001 (Vernon 1996). 1 The jury found in favor of Mann and found he was entitled to $40,000.00 back pay 2 , $75,000.00 in compensatory damages, and $250,000.00 in exemplary damages.
