OPINION

KOCH, Judge.

This appeal involves a child who was bitten by a dog owned by her aunt and uncle. Her mother and father filed suit in the Circuit Court for Robertson County against the owners seeking damages for themselves and for their child. A jury returned a verdict in favor of the owners of the dog. The parents of the injured child have appealed, insisting that the trial court erred by refusing to permit them to introduce proof that the dog had been destroyed after the incident.
