BLACKMUN, Circuit Judge.

Andrew Stratton Bass was convicted by a jury on four counts of a six-count indictment charging him, as a principal under 18 U.S.C. § 2, with violations of 18 U.S.C. § 1952. The latter, 1 P.L. 87-228, 75 Stat. 498, approved September 13, 1961, is one of the recently enacted inter state racketeering statutes. 2 Bass • received a general sentence of three years and a $5,000 fine. He appeals.
