—Appeal by the defendant (1) from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Beldock, J.), rendered June 12, 1989, convicting him of murder in the second degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence, and (2) by permission, from an order of the same court dated February 10, 1993, which, after a hearing, denied his motion pursuant to CPL 440.10 to vacate the *533judgment. The appeal from the judgment brings up for review the denial, after a hearing, of that branch of the defendant’s omnibus motion which sought to suppress statements made to law enforcement officials.
