—Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the County Court, Nassau County (Baker, J.), rendered May 12, 1992, as amended June 1, 1992, convicting him of robbery in the first degree (two counts), robbery in the third degree, and attempted robbery in the third degree, upon a jury verdict, and sentencing him, as a persistent felony offender, to four consecutive indeterminate terms of 25 years to life imprisonment. The appeal brings up for review the denial, after a hearing, of that branch of the defendant’s omnibus motion which was to suppress statements made by the defendant to law…
