This appeal is from a judgment based on a jury’s verdict in favor of the plaintiff, J. W. McAmis, for $500 as damages for the value of an alleged fine bird dog killed by being struck by a truck owned by the defendant, I. Y. Contract Truckers, Inc., of Mun-cie, Indiana, and driven by its employee and co-defendant, Albert Carlisle, also a resident of the State of Indiana.
