I. INTRODUCTION

Pro se plaintiff Kanal V. Gaston (“Ga-ston”) brought this action against the New York City Department of Health’s Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (“OCME”), claiming employment discrimination and retaliation pursuant to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (“Title VII”), 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000e et seq., defamation, and libel.
