—Judgment unanimously affirmed. Memorandum: The contention of defendant that he was denied effective assistance of counsel is without merit (see, People v Rivera, 71 NY2d 705, 708-709; People v Arnold, 188 AD2d 1020, Iv denied 81 NY2d 836; People v Salgado, 140 AD2d 855, Iv denied 72 NY2d 924). Further, the record establishes that defendant fully understood the plea that was offered.
