MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER
SHEDD, District Judge.
This matter is before the Court on defendant’s Motion for Judgment Notwithstanding the Verdict (JNOV) and/or New Trial. This case, which involves a claim of negligence arising out of an automobile accident, was tried before a jury on November 5-8,1991. At the close of the evidence, the Court directed a verdict in favor of plaintiff on the issue of liability and submitted the case to the jury for a determination of damages.
