MEMORANDUM DECISION
PEDER K. ECKER, Bankruptcy Judge.
The above-entitled debtors filed their petition in bankruptcy under chapter 11 on February 23, 1984, at 10:06 a.m. See 11 U.S.C. § 1101 et seq. The debtors are farmers and ranchers doing business on a 16,703-acre agricultural operation near Pierre, South Dakota. Around 12,250 acres of the debtors’ land are under irrigation provided by 12V2 miles of canals, over 50 miles of underground pipe, and 92 pivot systems which draw water from the massive Oahe Reservoir which borders the western edge of the farm.
