John Lance Emerson is charged with the crime of unlawfully possessing dangerous drugs with the intent to sell. At the close of the state’s case, his challenge to the sufficiency of the evidence was sustained. The state appeals from the judgment of dismissal which followed.
The state’s evidence was that United States Customs Service officers were informed that a package from Pakistan received at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport contained narcotic drugs.
