*1044The sole issue presented on this appeal is whether the length of appellant's postrelease community supervision (PRCS) was properly extended when PRCS was revoked and then reinstated. We conclude that it was not. While the present appeal is technically moot because appellant's period of supervision has ended, we address the issue to provide guidance on an issue of continuing public importance.
