This suit was brought by appellants in the district court of McLennan county against Hon. Thomas L. McCullough, county judge, and Thomas A. Caufield, Esq., clerk of the county court of said county, for a writ of mandamus, requiring said officials to issue to appellants the warrant of said county for the sum of $546.29 in payment of their claim against the county, which it was alleged had been approved and ordered paid by the commissioners’ court of said county at its June term, 1908, alleging that notwithstanding the order of said court directing the payment of said amount to appellants the…
